Chad was called to plant HOPE of Lake Lafayette and has served as Senior Pastor since the church began. 

The attributes that best describe Chad as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like HOPE of Lake Lafayette where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ.  Chad takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study.

Chad  has been happily married since 1991 to his wife, Renee. Renee is a 1st grade teacher in the Independence Mo. school district. They have five sons: Mike, Tyler, Jakob, Joshua and Justus and eight grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their family and believe ministry is a family affair.

Steve was called to preach and counsel at  HOPE of Lake Lafayette and has served as Associate Pastor since 2025. 

The attributes that best describe Steve as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to preach and teach God's Word in a church like HOPE of Lake Lafayette. Steve believe the Bible calls us all to connect others to the body of Christ.  Steve, like Pastor Chad takes worship and preaching very seriously, also spending time every  day focused on Bible study.

Teddy came on board at HOPE in 2022 as a member of the church. He soon began to explore the idea that God had a greater calling on his life than just leading his family towards our Lord. More recently Teddy is also serving as the Interim Pastor at Emmitt Baptist Church in Sedalia Mo.  

Teddy is happily married to his wife Kelly. They have two children and enjoy time with  family.
